Steampunk

Steampunk is a subgenre of Science Fiction inspired by how one might have retro-spectively invisioned future inovations during the Victorian Era. Steampunk makes use of steampowered machinery, and often takes place in an industrialized western civilization in the 19th century or early 20th Century (1910s). Steampunk story plots may draw on Post Apocalyptic themes, Horror, Fantasy, or Historical Fiction.
