Snafuperman is a 1944 American short distributed by the United States Army, and directed by Fritz Freleng. Snafuperman was one of several superman parodies created during the 1940s, and designed to target low literacy infantrymen. The Private Snafu cartoons where exclusive to soldiers in the United States Army, and not commercially available till December 2010. The Private Snafu series is now part of the public domain.
