The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (Japanese: トム・ソーヤーの冒険 Tomu Sōyā no Bōken) is a Japanese anime series, directed by Hiroshi Saitô which was aired in 1980. It is based on the well-known and popular novel The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain. The series was produced by Nippon Animation, and aired on Fuji TV from January 6, 1980 to the 28th of December.
