Goober and the Ghost Chasers is an animated Television series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions, and animated by Eric Porter Studios in Australia. The series aried sixteen episodes on ABC from September 8, 1973 to August 30, 1975. The show is similiar to Hanna-Barbera's Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, with notable difference being that the Ghost Chasers usually encounter real, yet friendly ghosts, who help them to reveal the false ghosts, who are not always criminals.
A group of teenagers who write, and photograph, for Ghost Chasers Magazine, along with talking dog Goober, investigate haunting claims using special equipment to determine if the Ghost is real, or not.
Goober (Paul Winchell) - The gang's canine companion, Goober speaks clearly, and turns invisible when frightened. It's never really explained why he turns invisible.

Animated versions of The Patridge Family guest star in seven of the series 16 episodes, including the first episode, during a time when they were best known for their live action TV series. The Patridge Family would latter appear in Hanna-Barbera's Patridge Family 2200 A.D.
