My Life as a Teenage Robot is a comic Science Fiction series of American origin that was published on the first of August in the year 2003. The show follows XJ-9 (Jenny Wakeman) as she tries to not only live the life of an American Teenager (dating, school, and parties) but also protect the Earth as her creator ("mother" Dr. Nora Wakeman) intends.

At School Jenny has to deal with Brit and Tiff, two cousins who are always out to embarrass Jenny or otherwise get people to stop paying so much attention to her. Reception Edit

My Life as a Teenage Robot received positive reviews from critics, being nominated for numerous awards, most prominently one Prime time Emmy Award and eleven Annie Awards.

Notes on the Setting Edit

In the episode 'I was a Preschool Dropout' Jenny states that she doesn't remember 'Superbowl C'. The Superbowl is an annual sports event that, as of 2017 was on it's 51st run. C is the roman numeral for 100; meaning that she is referring to the 100th run of the Superbowl. Superbowl C would take place in the year 2066. Since Brad mentions it, and Jenny doesn't recall it, and Jenny has been functioning for 5 years this event would at the least take place six years ago and no more then 10. Either way places the series as taking place sometime after the year 2070 but before the year 2080.
